PRIVATE CAT SKIING IN HOKKAIDO, JAPAN
Experience Japan beyond the resorts.
Drawing on over 20 years of local knowledge, Type Two Three creates private CAT skiing day trips and week-long adventures that unlock Japan's legendary powder. Exceptional value and an outstanding experience. That's our promise.
Guided by the day’s conditions, our snow CATs and deep local network get you on the best powder from the very first descent. Skip the crowds. Ski like a pro. Do it again next year.
JAPOW
Hokkaido’s legendary powder skiing, guided by people who know every inch of the terrain.
Your CAT day or week-long experience is tailored to conditions, crowds, and your group's appetite for adventure. Lap waist-deep blower pow through gladed birch followed by an onsen soak, or skin into the backcountry at first light and ride untracked alpine lines until sunset.
Mellow trees, open bowls, cliff bands, iconic pillows and mushrooms — from mid-winter cold smoke through spring corn. We've got the guides, CATs, and terrain to dial it in. We'll build your days around how you want to ride.
FOOD
Leave the tourist menu behind for local dining.
Our Week Experience guests look forward to means only an insider could land. You won’t be disappointed (or hungry). Our full, western-style breakfast complete with French toast, parfaits, and all the fixings will fuel your long days of CAT skiing deep in the mountains of Hokkaido.
Dinner is part of the deal for all of our week-long guests. We’ve handpicked the restaurants that do it best - locally sourced beef, pork, seafood, vegetables, sake, wine, and beer to round out each day in style. Expect melt-in-your-mouth sushi, steaming bowls of ramen, smoky yakitori, and other traditional Japanese dishes, each one a taste of the local culture you came to find. And best of all, you'll never wait in line.
Don’t forget about the on-mountain stews, local cafes, and soba-shop lunches. We give a whole new meaning to aprés dining.
